This is a brilliant marketing move: to sell with smell!
McDonald's just introduced street level billboards in the Netherlands that look red or yellow, nothing special. But, when you walk by, they smell like McDonald's french fries because there's actually a tray of them inside, pushing the smell out! It's so smart because people take a big whiff and recognize that smell immediately. Right away, they want McDonald's. Genius!
